Play Soirée
Presented by Manning Family Children’s, the 40th Anniversary Play Soirée Gala will celebrate four decades of inspiring curiosity and confidence in Louisiana’s children. Hosted at the Louisiana Children’s Museum in City Park, this milestone evening will honor LCM’s co-founders —Karin Giger, Louise McIlhenny, Cathy Pierson, and Candy Weiss—with the 2026 Great Friend to Kids Award, alongside an exclusive Patron Party and vibrant gala event. Every ticket and sponsorship supports vital community initiatives, expands family access, and fuels the next 40 years of play-based learning.

Mud Fest
LCM’s 5th Annual Mud Fest takes that iconic festival blueprint — live music, vibrant community, and high-energy fun — and scales it for our youngest environmental stewards and their families. Join us Saturday, March 28, for two stages of live music, “Muducation” stations, four massive truckloads of mud and so much more. It’s beyond a mess—it’s a hands-on celebration of the South Louisiana ecosystems that make us unique and an opportunity to foster a new generation of environmental stewards.
