We’re Turning 40 and the Louisiana Children’s Museum continues to inspire thousands of area children to achieve brighter futures. Those Big Blue Doors on Julia Street where we first opened a world of discovery in 1986 are fondly remembered. Now our new home in City Park continues that tradition and it’s time to celebrate 40 years of fun, education, and growth and to launch our next 40 years of inspirational educational reach to Louisiana children.
As the Louisiana Children’s Museum continues to be a beloved institution in our community, to celebrate this legacy and our future, we invite you to sponsor our 40th Anniversary Play Soirée gala on Saturday, November 14, 2026!
