Make Your Mark Gallery

LCM welcomes all families and children, of all backgrounds and circumstances. We offer low-sensory playtime experiences where children with sensory-specific needs can explore the Museum without the noise, crowds, and stimulation of typical open hours.

Attendance is more limited, sounds and lights are turned down, and adaptive equipment, such as noise-reducing headphones and weighted vests, are provided. When available, specialists will be on hand to help facilitate activities and provide resources.

Play With Us

There's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all kid. That's why we offer playtime experiences for children with sensory-specific needs from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month. This time allows them to explore the Museum without the noise, crowds, and stimulation of typical open hours. Upcoming dates: July 18, August 8 & 15, September 5 & 19
