Welcome to 2025
February 14, 2025
LCM is excited about new horizons! While we are prudent in preserving the same highly engaging, well curated, and impactful experiences synonymous with LCM, we are also keenly aware that growth requires continuing to do new things. We are also solid in our understanding that growth is a collective effort. YOU know what YOUR vision is for your child, your community, and your needs. LCM is here to ask for your vision and then serving as a conduit to elevate your vision to meet the need.
WE NEED YOU!
LCM’s Community Corner (also referred to in our region as the cor- nah), is the Community Engagement space where LCM continues to meet our community exactly where they are, to meet, support, and listen, and only THEN, to circle back with more programs, opportunities, and collaborations to continue to strive in being a museum for all.
As we rounded out 2024, we were excited to have the Krewe of Spectrum host a toy drive in the atrium of the museum during a Thursday evening Sensory Friendly Play Time (SFPT) session. The Krewe of Spectrum is a newly created New Orleans based autism awareness and inclusion krewe. Every kid in attendance received TWO gifts of their choosing, while LCM and the Krewe of Spectrum had an opportunity to share with everyone in attendance that we will continue to stand as an ally and advocate for all children.
WE HEAR YOU!
