2026 Membership Updates
Important Update: Effective April 14, 2026. To continue our mission as a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are adjusting our family membership pricing by $30 to $50 depending on the tier. Current members have until April 14 to renew or upgrade and lock in current rates.
At the Louisiana Children’s Museum, our 56,000-square-foot facility and 8.5-acre City Park campus are designed to spark curiosity. To maintain this award-winning standard of excellence and cover rising operational costs, LCM is introducing new membership rates, effective on April 14, 2026.
Why the Change?
As a private nonprofit, LCM does not receive local millage. Daily admissions and your membership and donations directly fund the care of our exhibits and the expert staff who bring our galleries to life.
New Family Membership Tiers (Effective April 14, 2026):
Membership remains the most cost-effective way to enjoy LCM—often paying for itself in just 2 to 4 visits!
- Family 1: $175 per year (Pays for itself in ~4 visits)
- Family 2: $250 per year (Pays for itself in 2.5 visits)
- Family 3: $315 per year (Pays for itself in ONLY 2 visits)
Your Member Benefits:
- Discounts: Exclusive savings on special events, the Museum Store, Acorn Café, LCM Camps, and Birthday Parties.
- Reciprocal Travel: Family 3 members get reduced/free admission to 200+ Children’s Museums and 290+ Science Centers nationwide.
- Flexibility: Caregivers and grandparents can still be easily authorized via email.
