Louisiana Children’s Museum offers camps to keep your child busy and engaged when school is out. Designed by educators, our camps include fun learning experiences in literacy, science and nature, math, and the arts with structured and supervised exploration indoors and outdoors on our beautiful 8.5 acres in the heart of City Park.

What You Need to Know

Camps are for children ages 4-8. Hours are 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Space is limited and is first come, first served. All campers must be 4 years of age by the date of camp, no exceptions. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age prior to the start of camp. We also require that campers be fully potty-trained to register for camp. Please note that if you have not already set up an account with our new CampBrain system, you will need to do so when you register.

Louisiana Children’s Museum campers will spend the holidays in a daily camp playing and learning in our museum in the heart of City Park. Campers will play in our outdoor and indoor exhibits as well as participate in themed hands-on activities including daily story time and art projects.

Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. on October 25 through our registration system CampBrain.

Kindness Camp : November 25-27. Join us for one, two, or three days of nature explorations, story time, and art activities that center around the concept of kindness for all. We will explore being kind to ourselves, to our peers, to nature and to animals.

Cozy Camp: This December and January, we are cozying up for holiday camp. We will learn about how animals stay cozy in the winter, how nature changes during this time, and how we stay cozy with friends and family through traditions, celebrations, stories, art and play. We will have a special cozy Pajama Day and make our own cozy holiday treats. Did we mention that it will be cozy? Camp dates are December 23, 26, 27 and 30 as well as January 2 and 3
