Volunteer Opportunities at Louisiana Children's Museum

Exhibit Volunteer

Rotate among our exciting, hands-on exhibits, or focus on serving as a docent for visiting exhibits. Exhibit volunteers answer questions and monitor exhibit activities while interacting with and encouraging guests to get the most out of their museum experience.

Summer Student Volunteer Corps

If you are a high school freshman or older, you can earn public service hours and help the LCM create meaningful and enjoyable visits for our guests. Volunteer shifts are available throughout the year, especially during the summer when we offer several exciting camps! Summer volunteers are asked to give a minimum of 50 volunteer hours and attend a training program.

Office Volunteer

Go 'behind the scenes' and help our busy office staff. Assistance is needed in our administrative offices, in the Museum store, on the phones or at the front desk.

Special Events Volunteer

Make a difference by assisting with special events, outreach programs and fundraisers such as CHAIRish the Children and the Children's World Fair.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Louisiana Children's Museum!

It is our goal to provide a volunteer experience that is rewarding to everyone involved. Please fill out a volunteer application and return to
