Location & Admission

The Louisiana Children's Museum is located at 420 Julia Street in the Warehouse Museum District between Magazine and Tchoupitoulas Streets and just four blocks from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Directions are available here.

Fall, Winter and Spring Hours
Tuesday - Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: Noon - 4:30 p.m.

SUMMER HOURS (June-end of August)

Monday-Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Sunday: Noon-5:00 p.m.

Thursday Night: Open until 8:00 p.m. for Thursday Night Family Game Night!

Closed major holidays: New Year's Day, Mardi Gras (call for schedule), Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas.

Admission
$7 per person, adults and children. LCM members and children under the age of one are admitted FREE. Adults must accompany children under 16 years. Handicap accessible.

Group Rates
Pre-registered groups of 15 or more who come to the Museum Tuesday through Friday qualify for a reduced admission rate. Call 586-0725 ext 209 for additional information and to schedule (4-6 weeks advance scheduling suggested). Field Trip information is available here.
