Birthdays are a Blast at the LCM!

Kids love birthday parties at the Louisiana Children's Museum because they're a BLAST! Parents love them because they're EASY and a great VALUE, too! Choose from two packages that will make planning your upcoming party a piece of cake.

Our "Birthday Blast" package includes:

90-minute rental of a festive party room
Free admission for up to 20 party guests (age 1-16) and up to 25 accompanying adults
A gift for the guest of honor
Colorful party invitations
Paper products (plates, cups, napkins and utensils)
20 FREE "LCM Admit one child free" party favor passes
Staff assistance

Party times are as follows:

Saturday: 10 - 11:30 a.m.; 12:30 - 2 p.m.; 3 - 4:30 p.m.

Sunday: 12:30 - 2 p.m.; 3 - 4:30 p.m.

You must be a member to have a birthday party at the LCM. The price for members is $195. The price for new members (you join when you make your reservation) is $245 with a Family I membership (1 adult and 1 child), $260 with a Family II membership (up to 5 visitors) or $275 with Family III membership (up to 8 visitors). Payment must be made in full in order forthe party to be confirmed.

Cancellation Policy: LCM must be given cancellation notice 14 days prior to birthday party date. Party will then be rescheduled with no additional charges. If LCM is not given a cancellation notice 14 days prior to date, then party fee is forfeited.

The Big Time Birthday Party package includes:

Exclusive use of the LCM and its exhibits for two hours
Admission for up to 30 party guests and 35 adults (packages of 20/25 and 30/35)
A themed activity where guests create custom party favors
A special keepsake for the guest of honor
Personalized birthday cake
Ice cream
Pizza and juice boxes for party guests
Soft drinks for adults
All paper products and decorations
Colorful party invitations
Staff assistance

Party times are 5 - 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

You must be a member to have a birthday party at the LCM. Big Time Birthday Party packages for members are $600 for up to 20 children and 25 adults or $700 for up to 30 children and 35 adults.

For new members (you join when you make your reservation), the price to accommodate 20 children and 25 adults is $650 with a Family I membership (1 adult and 1 child), $665 with a Family II membership (up to 5 visitors) and $680 with a Family III membership (up to 8 visitors). For parties for 30 children and 35 adults, prices are $750 with a Family I membership (1 adult and 1 child), $765 with a Family II membership (up to 5 visitors) or $780 with a Family III membership (up to 8 visitors).

A nonrefundable 50% deposit is required for all "Big Time" bookings with the remaining balance due two weeks prior to the party date.
