      Travel the World… All In One Afternoon

      At the Louisiana Children’s Museum’s Children’s World’s Fair

      Saturday, May 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

      Grab your passports and get ready to travel the world in one day! Experience the food, music, art, and traditions of far away destinations without leaving Julia Street! Explorers will also learn the science, engineering, and technology of our EIGHT featured countries: Argentina, Brazil, China, Egypt, Ireland, Monaco, Panama, and Vietnam.  We can’t wait to see you on our trip around the world! Well-balanced, kid-friendly lunch options will be available for purchase at our Food Court, courtesy of Piccadilly Restaurants, our 2013 Food Court Sponsor. 

      Early Explorers Patron Party:

      Beat the crowds and receive an exclusive patron treat bag at our Early Explorers Patron Party.

      Tickets start at: $100 for a Family 4 Pack and $30 for an Individual Ticket

      Day Of General Admission Tickets:

      $20.00 for an Individual Ticket

      This is a special fundraising event. Admission into the Museum on May 11th will be event pricing.

    The Museum celebrated our 2nd Annual Festival of Tress with two kick-off events and over 30 whimsical trees created by community partners that represented the arts, culture, businesses, and traditions of our region.     • Once a year, the Louisiana Children’s Museum opens its big blue doors for this festive fundraiser where grown-ups can be kids again, featuring one-of-a-kind, hand-painted whimsical chairs from artists and organizations around the city, as well as artwork, jewelry, travel packages and other exciting live and silent auction items. More than 20 gourmet restaurants will provide delicious samplings of their cuisines for attendees to enjoy, as well as premium cocktails and entertainment.
