The Louisiana Children’s Museum is New Orleans’ most playful party place for virtually any type of event—from small, intimate gatherings of 50 to large, festive receptions for more than 800 guests. Whether for a Bar Mitzvah/Bat Mitzvah, convention reception, Sweet 16, high school dance, fundraising event or family night, our experienced staff can help you plan, organize and manage your event from start to finish. We take your fun seriously.
Great events require great settings. So capture the energy and excitement that only the Louisiana Children’s Museum can offer. With more than 30,000 square-feet of interactive exhibits, there’s something fun for everyone. And you won’t have to break your budget to break away from the ordinary.
First Floor Only (Up to 400 guests)
Three Hours: $1,300
Four Hours: $1,500
Both Floors (Up to 1,000 guests)
Three Hours: $2,500
Four Hours: $3,000
Times Picayune Theatre (Up to 250 guests)
$100/hour
Please note: We create a custom package for each event. Supplemental charge might be incurred for late night events, additional staffing, additional cleaning, etc. These fee do not include the $500 deposit required to hold the event date.

- Private 2-hour rental of the 1st-floor of the Museum
- Admission for up to 50 guests

- Snack room use (6 48″ tables and 20 chairs)
- (2) 72″ folding tables
