The Louisiana Children’s Museum is New Orleans’ most playful party place for virtually any type of event—from small, intimate gatherings of 50 to large, festive receptions for more than 800 guests. Whether for a Bar Mitzvah/Bat Mitzvah, wedding, convention reception, corporate event, fundraising event or family night, our experienced staff can help you plan, organize and manage your event from start to finish. We take your fun seriously.
Great events require great settings. So capture the energy and excitement that only the Louisiana Children’s Museum can offer. With more than 30,000 square feet of interactive exhibits, there’s something fun for everyone. And you won’t have to break your budget to break away from the ordinary.
Capacity: 400 people
Base Price: $1,500 for up to three hours
First and Second Floors
Capacity: 800 people
Base price: $3,000 for up to three hours
Capacity: 250 people (seated)
Price: $200 per hour on its own; $100 per hour as an addition
Please note: Supplemental fees will be added for security, additional staffing, additional set up or clean up time, excessive waste, etc. These fees do not include the $500 deposit required to reserve the event date.
What Is Included
- Access to all exhibits within the rental area
- Meeting time with the After Hours Coordinator, who will be present at the event
- 3-5 trained Exhibit Facilitators
- 1-2 Porters during the event
- One hour of set up time
- One hour of breakdown time
The Museum allows hosts to use outside caterers and other vendors at no additional charge. Vendors must be approved by the After Hours Coordinator at least four weeks prior to the event.
